Gordon B. Rogers (b. Aug. 22, 1901, Manchester, Tenn.-d. July 4, 1967), U.S. Army officer, graduated from West Point in 1924. During World War II, he served in Australia and New Guinea and was assistant chief of staff, Army Ground Forces HQ in Washington, D.C. After the War he was assigned to the Office of the Director of Intelligence, War Department General Staff, then served as regiment commander, 12th and 5th cavalry regiments in Japan.
